Where is Gooseneck Ball Center for Curt Hitch C65HR Installed in 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:

I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with a Standard short? bed. Can you tell me the measurement from the back of the bed to the center of the ball for this hitch?? I know the BandW is 37 1/8inch but I have heard some people mention it is behind the axle on a standard box and therefore doesnt tow as well. I see the C65HR is the one Chevy offers on the Accessories page, just wondering where it places the actual ball for the gooseneck.

I checked with Curt and from the rear of the truck bed of your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD short bed to the center of where the gooseneck ball will be located will measure 47-7/8 inches. This should place it right above the axle center.
