Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter for 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500

Updated 09/09/2026 | Published 09/08/2026

Question:

Good Morning, I have a 2025 Chevrolet 2500 Duramax standard bed. I currently have the Curt 25K Doublelock EZR Gooseneck Hitch in my bed. What product do you recommend for a gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter within the bed of my truck ? I was looking at the Demvo DM63UV. Pulling a Montana

Hey Nathan, welcome back! The Demco Recon Stealth # DM73UV is a great option with the Curt EZr Double Lock # C65HR already in your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. It mounts to your gooseneck ball and comes with a MOLLE panel for your Chevy so you can fold up the hitch and store it at the front of the bed when you're not towing.

If you don't care about the folding design and storage, the standard Demco Recon # DM8550045 will also work with your existing gooseneck hitch. This also has the advantage of adding a 3" offset you won't get with the Stealth.

Another option, and what I would prefer for your setup, is replacing the pin box on your Montana 3781RL with a B&W Gooseneck Pin Box and using the Curt 4" Offset Ball # C602. This eliminates the fifth wheel hitch entirely. Based on the GVWR of your Montana, you'll want the 4.5k pin weight version. If you have a Lippert 1621 bolt pattern you need # BW83RV, or for a Lippert Rhino you need # BW55RV.

If you aren't sure what your bolt pattern is, I'd be happy to identify it if you can send me the S/N off your pin box.
