To attach a 5th wheel hitch to the Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C65HR that you are installing in your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 you will need the Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate # C16220. This adapter will drop into the EZr gooseneck hitch a provide you with a set of industry standard rails for your 5th wheel.
I recommend the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16541 for your Silverado. This is a manual slider as you cannot use an automatic slider when you need to be able to maneuver your trailer in tight situations. You will need to manually unlock the slider to move it into either the towing position or the maneuvering position when needed. This hitch is rated for up to 20,000lbs trailer weight with a maximum 5,000lbs tongue weight.
Be sure to get a Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # HM54FR so that you will be able to plug your gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer into the bed of your truck rather than running the wiring down the tailgate and into the bumper mounted connection which could become damaged as the trailer turns.
