How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com taking a look at the WeatherTech all-weather front and rear floor mats on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. The all-weather floor mats are gonna fit pretty precisely to the inside of your floor board. They are measured using WeatherTech's proprietary laser measuring system, and that's gonna allow it to fit right into place. You may notice this additional material that's here that shows that it should be trimmed. Since it's just a demonstration, I didn't cut it off 'cause it's going back in the box, but when you receive yours, just a pair of scissors will cut right through that, and then it'll fit a little bit more snugly right here in this position. As you can see, you have the channels in the mat that go to the reservoir.
That's the same across all of your WeatherTech mats that are gonna allow ice and snow to melt off of your boots and kinda pull and collect, so it just doesn't stay on the bottom of your shoes. Installation on the driver's side, you just have the two red buttons that you're gonna align with the knobs on your floor to keep everything from slipping around when you're out in the road. And just snaps right into place. You also have a foot rest pad right here to help reduce the amount of dirt that you have on the carpet, just protecting it and keeping everything nice. On the rear, our all-weather floor mats are gonna be two separate pieces that come together right here.
You just kinda connect them using the tabs, and you just press it into place. You have the rubber spikes on the bottom to hold it into your carpet to help it from sliding and giving you additional traction when you're getting in from that wet slushy weather. One of another great features is the fact that you have the over the hump protection. Since you do have a center passenger space, this is gonna allow you to be able to make sure their feet are covered and protecting your carpet as well. Our WeatherTech mat is made using injection molding to come out to the precise fit for the area that it's measured for.
That's gonna give you a nice, durable material that's gonna hold up for a long life. Overall, the WeatherTech all-weather mats are a great way to protect the carpet in your vehicle. They're really solid, the material is super thick, and they are very rugged. There are other mats available from WeatherTech that's gonna give you more coverage on your carpet. However, if you're just looking for something that's a step above the basic, then this is gonna be your go-to.
