Question:
I just installed my new trailer hitch and wiring harness. The hitch fit perfect as did the harness. My question is regarding the trailer light harness. I plugged it in as described but it doesnt work. This lead me to check fuses that are good. Am I missing something? Is there a master fuse? Since it didnt come with a hitch Im assuming the vehicle doesnt have a tow package but the wire harness in the back is in place. Can you help? Thanks Ed

Hey Edmond, the Curt trailer wiring kit part # C56210 that you have for your 2012 GMC Terrain would only fit if you have the factory tow package which it sounds like yours doesn't. What we know is that there are some OEM components needed to activate the tow package wiring that we unfortunately do not have access to. That said, what we can guarantee will work is the # 56094 which installs by plugging inline with the vehicle taillights. This is the for sure kit we can recommend that will work.
