Question:

I have a 2017 GMC Terrain without the towing package and I am looking for a 4-way wiring harness. You have a lot of options and I am not sure which one I need.

I would be happy to help clear up the confusion. Since your 2017 GMC Terrain does not have the factory towing package you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 56094. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness located behind the tail lights. This harness only works on the Terrain's without the towing package.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
