Love my Ridgeline. But the only hard point in the front is buried deep under the engine. This provides three rescue points and a way to mount a winch or whatever with a 2” hitch mount. Here is the good and bad. Etrailer.com was perfect. Fast shipping, good communication.five stars. The quality and value of the hitch is top notch. Holes lined up perfectly. All hardware was provided and high quality. Now the less than ideal. The hardest part of the installation was getting the rivnuts set. They wanted to spin in the holes. I had to rig a little tool out of a long eyebolt, screw it into the rivnut and run a nut up against the mount with a fair amount of muscle to expand the anchor. The other quip I have is that the hitch is very low. If I I mount a bike rack or something I’ll have to add a riser. The hitch comes out under the bumper and Honda didn’t go for maximum clearance. Ideally a hitch would come out though the bumper at a more appropriate height. But that would require a great deal of modification to the truck. I can’t fault the seller or the hitch manufacturer for these issues. Rivnuts are just work to set without the specialized tool and Honda gave us a pretty low front end. Moreover I am happy with the upgrade and feel better having a way to mount loads up front or attach a rescue strap.

UPDATE: Now in the TRASH. The quality of the hitch is excellent. Unfortunately due to the design of the truck, the hitch protrudes forward several inches and several inches down. As such, it hits the ground anytime you drive through even a small dip. So, the utility of the hitch is almost nothing and the loss of clearance is unacceptable. I ended up taking it off and throwing it away. Unless your Ridgeline is severely lifted, I do NOT suggest this product.
2019 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E. Installed it myself but a helper would have made it easier. Instruction say to remove and discard the lower engine shroud before mounting. I chose to do surgery on the shroud to fit the attachment points and put it back in. This made the install harder (less finger room) but the result in very nice. I measured clearance before and after at the lowest part of the engine. Putting this on reduced overall clearance 1 inch. It changed angle of attack significantly. Here's what you should think about...Is this a vehicle for serious 4 wheeling in? Then don't do this. And buy a different truck with greater ground clearance. If, like me, you pull a small trailer on paved and gravel roads, and you want to put bikes on the front, this will work great. See pictures attached.

Great, no problems!
ETRAILER WAS EXCELLENT. THE CURT HITCH WAS GOOD BUT I HOPE THE INSTALLATION STAYS TIGHT. NOT SURE ABOUT THE DESIGN TO HOLD HITCH TO THE FRAME.
Have to return this item. The design is flawed. When installed, here isn't enough clearance to make it out of the driveway or into a parking lot without scraping.
I could not find the hitch anywhere else. Great customer service and prompt delivery.
great fit good instructions!!
Received the hitch a couple days late due to UPS issues. Followed the instructions which were fairly easy to follow. The pictures were a bit dark and difficult to view but I was able to figure what to do once I got underneath and compared the hitch alignment to the corresponding bolts. I did place my truck on ramps but still a little uncomfortable laying on my back and doing the work. Used a lift to position the hitch which was a little precarious. I didn’t have any help which would have been nicel. I struggled with the last of the bolts to screw in properly so had to loosen others and work a pry bar to get it to thread properly. Finally all bolts threaded well and able to tighten securely. Thought about refabing the plastic shield instead of discarding it, which maybe was possible, but didn’t have the energy.
I am using the hitch for a Snowsport HD plow on a j2019 Honda Ridgeline. The minimum height required for the plow is 8”. The height at the angling interceptor is just above 8 “ and 10” at the bottom of the push bar. Will use the plow tomorrow to see how it works and if any adjustments are necessary. If there is a height issue I will use a receiver extension 2” drop/rise if necessary. I have about 2000 ft of drive/ road to plow and this plow should do the job.
I’m very happy with the fit and finish of this hitch.
Fair pricing and GREAT SERVICE. In the period of who has the lowest price, to me, service and product knowledge should be winning more business. I will spend more for the service levels companies like etrailer provide.
This is my 10th purchase of hitches for me, my family and friends. I will buy more!
Just installed today with my brothers help. Great instructions/ photos. Did take about 2 hours start to finish, not the 1 hour suggested. Otherwise no issues.
Fast shipping very helpful

UPDATE: Big problem surfaced. Although the quality of the hitch is very good, the Honda Ridgeline does NOT have enough clearance to make it work. It hit on EVERYTHING so I removed it and threw it away. Time and money wasted. Lesson learned.
