Here are the parts you'll need to tow with your 2010 Lexus RX 350.

For the hitch, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13143 is a great choice. Installation is pretty straightforward, and there is no drilling into the vehicle's frame required. The underbody panels and fascia will need to be temporarily loosened or removed, and a small amount of fascia trimming is required. Once it's installed, though, the hitch has a really clean, factory-like appearance. I attached an image so you see exactly where the receiver will sit.

For the wiring, you'll want to start with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 56083. Since you're planning to tow a trailer with brakes, you'll build off of that by installing the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. That kit adds the 7-way connector you'll need and provides the wiring necessary for a brake controller. When running the wires under the vehicle, stay clear hot spots, and moving parts.

Last but not least, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional # RED52VR. This is my favorite brake controller because the main unit stays hidden behind the dash, leaving only a small control knob visible. You can mount that knob within arm's reach, so if you ever need to manually apply the trailer brakes or make an adjustment while you're driving, it's right there without taking up legroom or cluttering the cabin.

To finish everything off, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount with Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR. It comes with the hitch ball already torqued to spec, so it's one less thing you have to worry about during installation.
