Troubleshooting 2015 Lexus RX 350 Curt T-Connector Not Matching up with OEM Plug

Question:
I purchase the Curt wiring for my 2015 Lexus RX350 Part Number: 56083. However the connector inside the rear of the rx350 does NOT mate with the Curt connector. I attached pictures of: lexus connector plug wiring area

Hey Neil, thanks for reaching out!
It looks like you still have the dummy plug connected to your 2015 Lexus RX 350 to help protect the OEM connector. If you remove the one end of the plug (that you're holding onto) you'll be able to plug in the Curt T-Connector # 56083 just fine.
If you jump to the 1:20 minute mark on the attached video you'll see Randy remove that dummy plug (although it isn't highlighted like I'd like it to be).
How are you planning on securing the 4-Way to your hitch receiver?

Hey Neil, how did things go once you removed the dummy plug and connected the Curt wiring on your RX350? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to match that connector. How did you end up securing the 4-way near your hitch?
