Wiring for towing doesn’t have to mean cutting into your vehicle’s wiring. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs right into the existing factory port, giving you a direct connection for your trailer lights. It’s a clean, no-splice setup that makes getting ready to tow simple and reliable.
This harness gives you a standard 4-flat trailer connector that carries running lights, turn signals, and brake light functions. The yellow wire controls the left turn and brake lights, the green wire handles the right turn and brake lights, and the brown wire runs the tail lights. The white wire grounds the system so everything works correctly. Once installed, your trailer lights respond exactly as they should.
The kit uses relays rated at 30/40 amps and includes fuses that isolate your trailer lighting circuits from the vehicle’s electrical system. These Bosch-style SPDT relays safely power the trailer lights without overloading factory wiring. Correct fuse placement—#35, #37, #43 for fuses and #58, #59 for relays—ensures everything operates smoothly while keeping your vehicle protected.
Once you’ve got this 4-way installed, you can easily add a 7-way adapter if you decide to tow a trailer with brakes or need a 12V power feed. The Curt T-Connector gives you a solid base wiring setup that can grow with your towing needs without having to start over.
