Question:
I just installed a trailer wiring kit on a 2007 equinox . the tail lights work but the turn signals and brake lights dont work . what could be the problem ?

It sounds like you have installed the fuses/relays in the wrong spot or they have blown. I would double check that all of the fuses and relays are good and in the correct locations as this is most likely what the issue is.
