Features to know about

One Hitch for Different Trailer Setups

Switching between trailers can turn into a pile of extra ball mounts and repeated setup changes. This ball mount has built-in 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls, letting you rotate between trailer sizes in seconds while keeping the same mount in your hitch. Your setup stays ready for different couplers, and trailer changes take less handling before you can hook up and go.

Height Adjustment for Level Towing

Different trailer tongue heights can leave your trailer sitting nose-high or nose-low behind the vehicle. The adjustable height settings let the ball mount slide up or down in 1" increments, with up to 7-1/2" drop and 7-1/2" rise, then secure with the included stainless steel pins and clips. You can match your trailer height more closely and tow with the trailer sitting level.

Stows Under the Hitch When Not Towing

flipped

Leaving a ball mount installed is convenient, but it can become an obstacle behind your vehicle when you're not towing. This stowable design lets you remove the pins, rotate the ball assembly underneath the hitch, and secure it back in place. The mount stays installed while taking up less space behind your vehicle, making it easier to move around the rear of the vehicle between towing jobs.

Lockable Design for Leaving It Installed

Leaving towing hardware on the vehicle raises the usual concern about someone walking off with the adjustable parts. When used with locking pins (sold separately), the anti-theft design keeps the adjustable arm and 2-ball mount from being removed. Your hitch can stay installed between jobs with the main adjustable assembly secured in place.

Solid Forged Steel for Demanding Towing

If your trailer lineup ranges from lighter utility trailers to heavy dump trailers, your hitch needs to keep up with both. This forged steel ball mount is rated for 8,000 lbs with the 2" ball and 18,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball, with a corrosion-resistant coating to protect the finish. Instead of swapping between different mounts, you can adjust the setup for the trailer you're pulling and get back on the road.

See what our Experts say about this Fastway Trailer Hitch Ball Mount

  • Is there an Anti-Rattle Device for a Fastway Flash Force Adjustable Ball Mount?
There sure is Steve and welcome back! To stop clunking and movement on a ball mount or accessory, I recommend our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2.5" hitch receivers item # e55YV or item # e38FV for 2" hitch receivers. These collars attach to the lip of the hitch and reduce movement where the ball mount shank fits into the receiver. So no more clunking around in the receiver for the new ball mounts. If your truck has a 2-1/2" hitch and you're using the Fastway Flash Force Adjustable...

  • Will a etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2.5" Receivers Work w/a Fastway Flash Force Ball Mount?
It sure will Steve! Our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV is definitely compatible with the Fastway Flash Force Adjustable 2-Ball Mount item # FA43FR or item # FA63FR that fit 2-1/2" hitch receivers. Our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV is going to firmly attach to the lip of your truck's 2-1/2" receiver and prevent any movement of your ball mount's shank. Unlike other anti-rattle devices this one can stay installed on the receiver while also allowing you to...

  • Can etrailer High-Low Adjustable Adapter Be Used For Towing 2025 Flagstaff 22 FBS
Hey Tony, congratulations on the new truck! Since the etrailer High-Low Adjustable Adapter # e52ZV is only designed for flat towing, it isn't the solution you're looking for to tow your 2025 Flagstaff 22 FBS. If you're trying to use an existing fixed ball mount, I recommend the Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH67SR. This has an adjustable receiver just like the high-low adapter. With an 11" rise/drop you can get your travel trailer level using your existing ball...

  • Can I Use Fastway Flash Force Adjustable 2" Ball Mount In 2-5/16" Receiver?
Hey Brian, since your F-250 has the larger 2-1/2" receiver, I’d go with one of the 2-1/2" Fastway Flash Force models rather than stepping down to a 2" shank with a reducer sleeve. The # FA43FR and # FA63FR are made for 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receivers, so they match your hitch opening directly. They also give you the higher 2-5/16" ball rating of up to 18,000 lbs, compared to 10,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball for the 2" receiver versions. Even if your current trailers are under 10,000 lbs, using...

  • Is There A Way To Lock The Fastway Flash Force Ball Mounts So They Can't Be Stolen Off My Truck?
That’s a really good question, Kevin. The Fastway Flash Force ball mounts use standard pins and clips for the adjustable section, and there is an open notch in the vertical channel that allows the ball platform to slide off when the pins are removed. For normal towing, the included pin-and-clip setup is what holds the adjustable section in position. For theft deterrence, you’d want the Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set # FA86-00-3685. That lock set works with all...

  • Will B&W Or Fastway Ball Mount Be Better For 2024 GMC 2500 With MultiPro Tailgate?
Good question, Aaron. Since your main detail is the GM MultiPro tailgate, I’d be careful here. The B&W Tow & Stow for 2-1/2" receivers # BWTS20066BMP is specifically listed as compatible with the GM MultiPro tailgate, so if tailgate clearance is your top concern, that B&W is the safer recommendation. The comparable Fastway option would be the Fastway Flash Force # FA63FR if you have the 2-1/2" receiver and need the taller 7-1/2" drop/rise range. It also has the 2" and 2-5/16" balls, stows...

  • How To Prevent Theft And Rattling Of Fastway Flash Force Adjustable Drop Hitches For Truck Receiver
Hey Chris, great questions, and I do have a solution for you! For security on the Fastway Flash Force adjustable ball mounts, use the Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set # FA86-00-3685. That gives you one lock for the receiver connection and a second lock for the adjustable section. That second lock is important because the ball platform can be removed through the open notch in the adjustment channel if it is not locked down. For rattle, match the anti-rattle part to...

  • Which Adjustable Ball Mount Will Work With 2" And 2-5/16" Couplers On RAM 2500 2-1/2" Receiver
Hey Martin, it depends on the height of your truck hitch and the trailer coupler, but for your Ram 2500 with a 2-1/2" receiver, you’d be looking at either the Fastway Flash Force # FA43FR or # FA63FR. Both are built for a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" hitch receiver, both include 2" and 2-5/16" balls, and both are rated up to 8,000 lbs on the 2" ball or 18,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball. If your Ram is stock height and most of your trailers already sit close to level, I’d start with the # FA43FR. It gives...

  • Is There A Way To Reduce Rattle And Clunking On The Fastway Flash Force Adjustable Ball Mounts?
Absolutely, Jason, and the right anti-rattle part depends on which receiver size you’re using. If you’re using one of the 2" receiver models, either the Fastway Flash Force # FA33FR or # FA93FR, you can use the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitches # e38FV. That collar helps reduce movement where the ball mount shank fits into the receiver. If you’re using one of the 2-1/2" receiver models, either the Flash Force # FA43FR or # FA63FR, you’d use the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp...
