Question:

I just bought a 2026 F350. I tow a 2025 Flagstaff 22 FBS. My previous tow vehicle was a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500. The bumper on my F350 is higher than my Chevy 1500. Will this setup work so that I’m able to tow my flagstaff camper with my F350? Thanks.

Hey Tony, congratulations on the new truck! Since the etrailer High-Low Adjustable Adapter # e52ZV is only designed for flat towing, it isn't the solution you're looking for to tow your 2025 Flagstaff 22 FBS. If you're trying to use an existing fixed ball mount, I recommend the Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH67SR.

This has an adjustable receiver just like the high-low adapter. With an 11" rise/drop you can get your travel trailer level using your existing ball mount. If you have the standard 2-1/2" receiver I also recommend adding the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e55YV to help reduce that movement with the additional adapter. This comes with a reducer as well so it will work with the Patriot Hitches 2" shank.

You may also want to consider moving to an adjustable ball mount for a 2-1/2" receiver to cut down on parts. Something like the Fastway Flash Force Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # FA43FR (4-1//2" Drop/Rise) or # FA63FR (7-1/2" Drop/Rise) would be a good alternative, and one less thing to carry around. The dual-ball mount also stores under the hitch when you aren't towing so it stays out of the way. You can still pair this with the anti-rattle for a nice, solid setup.
