Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features chrome-plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with a six inch drop, max seven inch rise, made for a two and a half by two and a half inch hitch receiver. So folks, this ball mount with the included hitch balls will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle by simply sliding the shank into the hitch receiver. Now you will require a five eighth inch thick hitch pin that is sold separately. If you don't already have one, you can get 'em here at etrailer.com.
Now you're gonna have two balls. A two inch one, rated at 8,000 pounds capacity. And a two in five 16th inch ball, rated at a max of 18,500 pounds capacity. The max tongue weight on this whole unit is 2,200 pounds. And as you can see, nice, elegant, all solid shank and head unit of 6061 T6 builded aluminum.
Now that's gonna be super lightweight and strong, and it's gonna be corrosion and rust resistant. Now the balls are hardened steel, but they are chrome plated. So that, again, is gonna give you that nice rust resistant and corrosion resistant plating as well. Now as I said, you can simply flip this over for the rise or the drop, however you need to use it. And swapping the ball is very, very simple.
You have a protective rubber dust cap here on this dual pin locking pin assembly here. You get two tubular keys. That's for extra protection. It's hard for people to pick those kind of locks. Simply unlock it, pull the dual locking pin out, and then if you need to swap this over, it's as simple as just flipping it.
One, two, three. Couple seconds here and there. Put your pin back in, which is now on the other side of the assembly. And lock it. And again, you're good to go. Put your dust cap back on. It really is that simple, folks. So it took me, what 10, 20 seconds to do it, to flip it over. So again, in this case, this would be the rise position, or if you flip this over, maybe you set it up in the drop for a two and five 16th inch ball. So again folks, very nice Weigh Safe 180 Hitch. I like the style, I like that it's that simple to flip it over. Multiple height trailer couplers, multiple size trailer couplers. This is pretty much gonna do everything you need. And we do offer these in a two inch by two inch shank as well. You can find them on the website as well. If the two and a half by two and a half isn't your cup of tea or your need. Now the holes over here go up and down in one inch increments. Now some quick dimensions, I always like to give from the center of the hitch ball back to the center of the closest pin, and then the furthest away. On the closest pin, I got eight and a half inches. And on the furthest away pin from the center of the hitch ball again to the center of the pin hole, I got nine and five eighth inches. Now going the opposite direction to the back here to the center of the hitch pin hole, three inches. And then the closest one to the back to the back on center, I get one and seven eighth inches. So make sure that clearance and those measurements work for your needs. You should be good. This is gonna fit pretty much all the hitches I've come across to my time anyways, as far as the depth and everything, but double check if you need to. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look at the Weigh Safe 180 six inch Drop Hitch. I'm Steven, thanks for watching, and as always, stay safe while you're towing.

This isn't the cheapest hitch on the market, but it is certainly high quality. The carrier slides as it should as does the ball. The locks for the receiver and the carrier are keyed the same and they give you 4 keys. I personally like the double pinned carrier instead of a single pin as some of the others do. I have only had it a week but, I'm impressed so far.
Super happy with the hitch..highly recommend. Half the weight of a steel hitch. We are working
