Features to know about

Keeps Every Trailer Level: 8" Drop or 9" Rise

Switching between different trailers often means different coupler heights, but keeping your setup level is key to a stable tow. This adjustable mount gives you up to an 8" drop or 9" rise in 1" increments, so you can dial in the exact height you need. Whether you’re pulling a camper, boat, or utility trailer, it keeps the load balanced and the ride steady.

Handles Heavy Loads with Confidence: Up to 10,000 lbs GTW

When your trailer’s loaded down, strength matters most. With a 2" ball rated for 8,000 lbs and a 2-5/16" ball rated for 10,000 lbs, this mount is built for serious towing. The solid, machined aluminum shank has no welds—just one strong piece that won’t flex under pressure. It’s the kind of setup that gives you peace of mind hauling big loads down the highway.

Easily Swaps Between Trailers: Two Balls in One Mount

If you tow more than one trailer, swapping hitch balls doesn’t have to be a chore. This design uses a reversible platform with both a 2" and a 2-5/16" chrome-plated steel ball. Just pull the pin, flip the platform, and you’re ready to hook up to your next trailer. No tools needed and no hunting for extra parts.

Built to Last: Polished Aluminum That Won’t Rust

Road salt and rain can take their toll on towing gear, but this one’s made from aircraft-grade billet aluminum that resists corrosion naturally. The polished surface keeps its shine without paint or coatings wearing off. It’s lightweight but tough, built to look good and stay strong for years of towing.

Quiet and Solid Connection: Reduced Rattle While Towing

No one likes hearing clatter from the hitch when driving. The solid aluminum shank fits snugly in your 2" receiver to cut down movement. When hitched up with weight on the ball, it stays firm and quiet for a smoother tow that feels more connected to your truck and trailer.

It’s a great product and performed as I needed it. I need the two inch ball and the 2 1/4 in ball scraped the street as I was backing out. There should be a way to take the ball you don’t use off!
by:
Nice looking and very well made. I will be hauling a 24’ enclosed trailer with combine weight of 6000 pounds. I am replacing a one piece steel unit that was showing signs of bending. This should be safer.
by:
I bought a new truck and needed a receiver for the truck. I am really pleased with the hitch I bought. It looks good on the truck and pulls my stock trailer like a champ. I love the fact that it is adjustable because it fits all 4 of my trailers heights with quick and easy adjustment. This is a great looking and working product.

What a great product. Works on all my trailers. Adjusts quickly, and handles all the weight that I have put on it. Still works and looks great. Have had many compliments on my hitch.

by:
seams nice have not towed yet, a lot of movement in the receiver though. will do another rating after i tow.
by:
Very pleased with adjustable hitch and service! It was reasonably priced with free shipping. The hitch allowed me to properly adjust height and travel level with my trailer. I plan to be a repeat costumer.
by:
Great looking and strong. I almost hate to hook a trailer to the flawless finish. Only issue is that when the ball is mounted on the front of the drop to get it out of the way when not towing it will only fit into the bottom pin hole which leaves the ball significantly lower than the drop mount. Should have been able to fit into the second from bottom hole to protect the ball and give more ground clearance
by:
First, I'm very pleased with the level of customer service from etrailer.com. Site is easy to navigate, ordering was simple, and the item was shipped on time.

The hitch itself is a thing of beauty. Well-designed, solid, bright and shiny. I put it on my truck to see if it fits as expected, which it does. I haven't attached my trailer yet, but I can see that it will work as advertised.
by:
Exactly what I needed. Super helpful phone and video advice. Reps are knowledgeable and easy to deal with.
by:
The hitch is great I love how easy it is to adjust height as well as no having to remove pin to remove or adjust height also hitch still looks great after a really hot Phoenix Arizona summer
by:
Haven't used it yet (just got it yesterday), but it looks great! Shipping came when promised, good communication from etrailer, thank you very much!
by:
Amazing product. Have used a dozen or so times and it continues to amaze. I even have people come up to me compliment it and get information. Also, customer service is 2nd to none. Thank you.
by:
very good quality. with the different holes, I can now pick the right one to pull my cargo trailer level.
by:
Looks amazing,it says American made that always makes me proud, probably the nicest I've seen....thx for fast shipping
by:
Easily adjusts for different trailer heights.
by:
Very solid construction. i was afraid it would rattle but it doesn't . Easy to change ball size and height for my different trailers
by:
Was easy to order and delivered third day. Great looking and light to carry compared to steel hitches. Great purchase at a fair price.
by:
Looks great and well made, looking forward to using it with my trailer.
by:

  • Compatibility of a Hitch for a 1972 Chevrolet K Series Truck
The Curt # C15511 hitch is the confirmed fit for a 1972 Chevrolet K Series truck if you have the 8 foot bed and the deep drop rear bumper. The measurement from the top of the tube to the mounting flange is 8-1/32 inches. The extended length was to make sure the hitch would clear the bumper. If you have the standard bumper, then the Curt Hitch # C14082 is the confirmed fit. If # C15511 can be installed on the standard bumper model, then there will be a large gap between the bumper and...

  • Recommended Adjustable Ball Mount With 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for 7,000 lb Trailer
So the answer to the exact adjustable ball mount you need really depends on the amount of rise or drop you require. If you aren't sure how to measure for that, I've added a link to a help article detailing how to determine that. With that in mind, I'll give you some options, and I also want to point out that adjustable ball mounts do come with both a 2" hitch ball and 2-5/16" hitch ball, though if you never need the 2" ball you can simply store it away. I recommend the Flash E Series...

  • Parts Needed to Move Trailer leaf Springs to Top of Axle on a Zinger ZT19RD Travel Trailer
To lift your trailer leaf springs from the bottom of your axle to the top of your axle to provide lift for the suspension you will need 4 new spring seats, 8 u-bolts, 16 nuts and 4 U-Bolt plates, see links. This is assuming that your trailer suspension is in good condition otherwise. The diameter of your trailer axles will determine the size of these parts that you will need to order. If your axles are 3 inches diameter, the kit you referenced, # K71-385-00, would be a great choice. I...

  • 2014 Cadillac Escalade Adjustable Ball Mount Recommendation
Your 2014 Cadillac Escalade would most likely not have a 2-1/2 inch hitch installed on it, but if it did the part # FA42-00-2825 would work. Most likely you have a 2 inch hitch installed though and would need the # FA42-00-2800 which is the same thing but for the 2 inch hitch size. It sounds like from your history on our site that you're looking for an adjustable ball mount for your 2017 Ford F-350. Of the three ball mounts you looked at, parts # MD206, # FA49-00-5625,and # FA42-00-2825 I like the Fastway # FA42-00-2825 because it has a slightly higher amount of travel in the rise and drop but more importantly is completely aluminum causing it to be lighter and resistant to corrosion. The # FA42-00-2825 fits a 2-1/2 inch receiver so if your truck has 2 inch then...

The hitch balls on the Flash E Series Adjustable Ball Mount, # FA42-00-2800, will rattle somewhat in the ball mount when not towing. If the rattle you are experiencing is at your trailer hitch receiver, then that can be easily remedied...
