Question:
What is the hole size and length of lock required? Hello, Im considering this hitch for a 2019 F 350 dually. I have a 3inch hitch receiver with 2 sleeves that reduce the size down to a 2inch receiver therefore, it requires a larger diameter lock 5/8, I believe as well as a longer lock to secure a ball mount to the receiver. Does this ball mount have a 5/8inch hole that will allow it to lock with my receiver? Will the standard lock set for this hitch work, or will I need the HD version? Please let me know. Thanks!

The Flash E Series Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls # FA42-00-2800 has a 5/8 inch pin hole diameter. I believe you will be able to use the Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set for Flash E Series Ball Mounts # FA86-00-3660 for a locking combination. The hitch lock is 3-5/8 inches from inside to inside so as long as your 3 inch receiver is under that 3-5/8 at the outer edges you will be fine.
You can alternatively use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Lock - 3" Hitch # BD580412 or # 63259.
If you don't want to use the reducer sleeve, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 3" Hitch # BWTS30040B. This has a nice stowable feature when not in use and will be a better fit for your receiver. I've attached a video to assist and the locks listed above will secure your ball mount well.
