You're loaded down with bikes, lumber, or a side-by-side caked in last weekend's mud. Doesn't matter. You've got the right hitch and no reason to second-guess it. Swapping trailers tomorrow? Flip the ball over and get back to work.
This hitch doesn't mess around. With a 14,000 lb rating on the 2-5/16" ball and 10,000 lbs on the 2", it handles most big trailer jobs with ease. And because it's made from lightweight aluminum with stainless steel balls, you get the strength without the bulk. Easier to handle. Built to pull hard and stay looking sharp.
This version gives you 6" of drop or rise, perfect for lifted trucks or taller trailers. No overkill. No setup headaches. Just the right height to keep your trailer level and your rig stable.
Flip the stainless-steel ball platform and you're ready to switch trailers. Secure pins keep it locked in, and the adjustment holes are clean and tight. No slop. No extra hardware. Just set it and go.
Forget flaky paint or corrosion creeping in. The aluminum shank resists rust, and the stainless balls don't rust out or gum up no matter how nasty the road gets. Even the pins are stainless, so you're not hunting replacements after one salty winter.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Bulletproof Hitches aluminum adjustable two ball mount with a six inch drop or rise for a two and a half inch hitch. Has a 14,000 pound maximum gross towing weight capacity. Now this is an aluminum ball mount. Uses a stainless steel dual ball platform that'll slide into your two and a half inch hitch receiver opening and let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The hitch balls is what'll provide the connection point for your trailer coupler.
And when you do install this into your hitch, it will require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for securing it to your hitch receiver. Those items are not included. We do sell those separate on our website. You do wanna make sure to get one that'll fit a 5/8 inch diameter hole right here. Now the balls we mentioned, they are two different size stainless steel hitch balls.
So this is gonna let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes. Basically you have a two and 5/16 diameter ball here and a two inch ball here. And what's nice about this is to switch the ball, all you have to do is remove these two clips, slide out the pins, rotate the ball platform to what ball size you need, and then reinsert the pins and clips to secure it. Now these adjustment holes right here are one inch apart, so it does adjust in one inch increments. Now I did wanna mention the pins and clips.
If we take out one of the clips here, this one to show you, they are a 5/8 inch diameter, corrosion-resistant, hardened steel pin. Features a nice nickel undercoat on it, has a zinc plating top coat for corrosion resistance, and it comes with the clips. So again, when you just slide those through, you'll just take the clip, line it up with the hole, push it right on, and just like that it'll clip in place and secure it. Now the gross towing weight capacity on this, if you use the two and 5/16 diameter ball is 14,000 pounds. If you flip it over, use the two inch diameter ball, it's 10,000 pounds, tongue weight will be 2,000 pounds.
And we mentioned, you can see it has an adjustable heist to it. So it's gonna let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. Basically you can mount this in a drop or rise position, if you install it this way, that's in a drop position. Now if we put this at the very bottom holes that you can connect it to, it's gonna get you a maximum drop of six inches, which is measured from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. If you would flip this over like this and put it in the rise position and then put this all the way at the very top, the furthest you can go, from here to the top of the ball platform would be six inch. So it's gonna get you a six inch drop or rise. And basically as we mentioned, you just slide this ball platform up or down along the shank, secure it in place with those pins and clips. Now this is a solid lightweight aluminum, uses a nice, sleek, polished finish that won't chip or corrode, and it is machined to extremely tight tolerances for a nice precise fit. Application, again, fits into a two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver. Last thing I wanna do is just give you a few measurements. We're gonna measure from the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole, there's two of them here, to the center of the ball. So again, if we do from the first hole right here, from the center of it to the center of the ball is eight inches. And if we go to the back hole center to the center ball, nine and one quarter inches. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Bulletproof Hitches aluminum adjustable two ball mount with a six inch drop or rise for a two and a half inch hitch.
