Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement push rod assembly for the Demco brake actuators with the one and a quarter inch bore. Now, this part here will replace the push rod assembly for the Demco brake actuator that has the one and a quarter inch diameter bore in the master cylinder. Basically, this push rod's assembly is located inside your brake actuator. The push rod in right here is what'll insert into the master cylinder.
And this other end right here, this attaches to the emergency lever that the breakaway cable is connected to on top of the actuator. So basically, what happens, if the trailer becomes disconnected from the tow vehicle, the breakaway cable will pull the emergency lever, which will activate this push rod assembly to push into the master cylinder. And that's what applies the pressure to apply the trailer brakes to stop the trailer. But that should do it for the review on this replacement push rod assembly for the Demco brake actuators with the one and a quarter inch bore..
