Your brake actuator sits close to the trailer frame, and a straight hose just won't cut it. This 18" hose uses a 90-degree fitting to make that first tight turn without bending or twisting.
Connector Hose for Actuator: 18" Line links your brake actuator to the rest of your hydraulic system.
Flexible Rubber Construction: Ideal for foldaway tongues, disc brakes, and torsion axles; handles movement and vibration.
Brass Male Inverted-Flare Fitting: More pliable than steel, creates a stronger, leak-resistant seal, and resists rust.
90-Degree Fitting at One End: Angled end reduces strain on the rubber hose in tight spaces or sharp turns.
Meets Federal Standards: DOT and SAE Certified for safety and performance in hydraulic brake systems.
Leak Resistant: Rubber hose handles flexing and vibration without cracking or splitting.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this DeeMaxx Rubber Hydraulic Brake Line. Now, this 18 inch brake line is most often used to connect your actuator to the rest of your hydraulic system. The flexible rubber construction is perfect for pulled away trailer tongues, disc brakes and torsion axles. This is designed for any three sixteenths of an inch brake lines, the thread size is three eighths of an inch by 24, and the brass male inverted flare fitting on one end and the 90 degree bend on the other is gonna put less strain on the rubber lines. And because they're brass, they're gonna make a better seal than the steel fittings.
Because brass is more pliable, it's gonna help prevent leaks, splits, and corrosion. And the one eighth of an inch inner diameter is going to allow for smooth brake fluid flow. This is going to meet the Department of Transportation and SAE standards for safety. We do have other lengths and types available of brake hoses. If this isn't exactly what you're looking for, I'm confident you'll be able to find what you need by taking a look at the other options that we have from DeeMaxx and from other manufacturers as well.
If you do pick this up and you get this installed into place, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with the installation and the operation.
