I have had my Rapid Hitch nine years now, I have no idea how many miles I have towed both open and enclosed trailers. Although my locks are showing a little rust, everything looks near new, except my 2 5/16 ball. So I decided to replace it for the first time. Ordered the replacement from etrailer, recieved my order in three days and I'm very pleased. I think I'll order replacement locks this week and it will look like a completely new hitch.150299

I have had the Andersen Hitches "Rapid Hitch" adjustable hitch with the greaseless plastic caps for a few years now. In theory it seems like a great idea, but I can no longer get the caps to stay on, even with buying new caps. I tried adhesive to no avail. I decided to go with the regular hitch balls as replacing just a few of the caps will pay for the replacement. I can't get over how much plastic cost these days:)729227

I ordered the 2-5/16 and 2" ball and couldn't believe how fast it arrived. It was exactly what was advertised on the site and works perfect. Overall I'm very impressed with my entire set-up. I've never seen an adjustable hitch receiver quite like it. The pieces are cast to shape so there are no welds and the aluminum is very heavy duty structural aluminum. Besides that, although I'm not concerned with the appearance of the receiver, I've had a lot of compliments.171020

Bought to change out my greasless multi-ball on the rapid hitch. The swap was easy! I needed more capacity and this gets me to 10,000 GVW.100121

I started with the grease less unit but after I replaced the caps 2 different time I had to do something else so I went with the chrome plated steel and won't have to loss another cap again!1196316
