Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at the Weigh Safe universal 2 inch to 2 5/16 inch stainless steel clamshell converter. That's right, folks, with this converter, you can simply clamp this clamshell around the top of a two inch ball and that stainless steel construction here is not gonna rust or corrode on you, and it'll give you a nice, solid, safe way of adapting a 2 inch ball to a 2 5/16 inch coupler. And you get a nice little bag with drawstring here included. So I went ahead and I'm gonna give you a demo here.
This ball does not come with it. I just pulled it for demonstration purposes. So it is a two inch ball and then you simply put the clamshell over it, close it, and now it's a 2 5/16 inch ball. Now, I like the warning label that comes with it, says, "Never keep this on when you're not towing," because this is not locked into place or anything. It literally just has a hinge inside.
It literally just goes over, clamshells around it and it can actually spin freely over the top of it, but that could potentially fly off if you don't take it off. So that's what the bag's for when you're not using it. Take it off, pop it in your little bag here, put it in your compartment somewhere where you're not gonna lose it inside your vehicle and then you're on your way. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look at this Weigh Safe universal 2 inch to 2 5/16 inch clamshell converter.
I'm Steven, as always, stay safe while you're towing and have a great day.
