By far the Best hitch I have ever had!! The ease of unhooking and hooking anyone could do it. I was a big fan of another hitch until I got this. Curt you guys did it with this one absolutely would recommend this product to everyone!!!
This was SO easy to install into my truck! While at first I was a little confused on how it went together, it was much simpler than I thought. I did have to purchase a torque wrench to make sure the bolts were tighten the proper amount. I pull a 42' Grand Design fifth wheel, weighing about 17k, and the hookup and unhooking are ridiculously simple. Once I back the pin into the hitch, it hooks itself; I just have to put the locking pin in and drive away. For unhooking, it's as easy as pulling the locking pin, the pulling the handle to release the jaws. Now, I'm not a tall woman, so I have to stand on my tires, but I do it myself every time. After a year of pulling our rig across 8 states, I am still so happy with this purchase. The bumper pads have protected that area on my rig, and it's so easy to use. No regrets in this purchase!
The ease of use and function is fantastic ! Unfortunately curt had to warranty a complete replacement after 4-5 months due to the internal main head-pivot bolts backing out and bending the retaining caps. The warranty process was fast and the people were great. I do highly recommend this fifth wheel. I combine it with my F450 and 40.5’ grand design fifth wheel.
No complaints this thing has been performing extremely well. We have traveled over 12,000 towing miles with this set up and could not be happier. If there was one small thing to fix it would be that it’s a little squeaky, Sprayed some rubber approved silicone spray, and that took care of it for a while, but it came back recently
I purchased due to the fact that you can remove the top and bottom portion separately. Totally not the case I have towed my 5th wheel thousands of miles and still can't remove the top section from the bottom even with a pry bar. I AM 63 and the whole reason I bought this was to be able to remove it with out any help. The pin lock chain broke in the box I had to replace it before I even used the hitch. It's also rusting as I have to leave it in the truck all year.
This hitch has been great. So much so that I just ordered another one last week. The only thing I don't like are the 2 plastic pieces that lay on top of the fifth wheel plate. They both broke within the first 2 weeks. So I moved th and didn't replace. I just run a Lube Plate instead and it works great. Curtis needs to just get rid of those and just leave the raw steel.
Super sturdy for our 20,000lb 5th wheel, and 25,000lb work trailer. Very simple to install and remove. That sturdiness does come with some weight though. You'll need a strong back, even though it does come in two pieces. This is a 30,000lb hitch and would easily handle anything you could haul with any size pickup truck. When unhitching, make sure your trailer is pushed up against the front of the hitch. As with any 5th wheel, the jaws won't open up if there's rearward pressure on them. Connecting firmly to the tie down pucks in the bed of our F450, there is virtually no chucking. This is a quality item. I would absolutely recommend it.

I Purchased your 30,000 lb hitch prior to taking a 10,000 mile/26 state vacation. My Fifth Wheel loaded was 27,000 lbs and I never heard any noise nor did I have a problem hitching. Love the hitch and would recommend to anyone...
It has performed flawlessly throughout 20,000 miles of pulling our 20 thousand pound 5th wheel. I could not have asked for a better hitch for my Ford F-350 dually

This hitch is the best one we have had, and we have had several.Very easy to hook up to and go.
Teflon wear plates break and lift. Hitch is noisy. The rubber isolators wear out really fast. Maybe has only 2000miles of towing. The jaw system works good and that’s about it.
I have the Curt Pin Box that came with my 5th wheel. The Hitch works great. Like many other hitches, I do get chucking; but that may be the pin box. I have F450 and the Ford puck kit fit in nice and snug.
Just got it installed, I had no problems. We will hookup this week and I will let you know
Got here super fast less than 3 days, it was well packed and easy to assemble, now to put it to a test.
I received my hitch this afternoon, just as the shipping said. Chelsea helped me with it and so far the hitch looks great. Haven’t pulled with it yet but I am replacing a 30K pound Comfort Ride hitch that has failed on me twice. Last time the 1” bolt broke and thank the Lord my RV did not come off and kill people. I am happy with what I have seen and look forward to using it to pull my RV.

Hmmm...I am sorry to hear that this hitch is giving you so much trouble. I am wanting to reach out to the manufacturer. Are there anymore details you can provide about this? Any pictures or videos, too?
