Question:

For the smoothest ride, would you recommend this hitch or the BandW companion? Also, being that this one is fairly new to the market, would you have any longevity concerns on this when comparing it to the BandW? My truck is a 2022 Ford F450 with the factory puck system. My fifth wheel has a gross vehicle weight rating of 16,800lbs.

The Curt PowerRide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package part # C48BR and B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package part # BWRVK3305 are both great options for a 2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty 8 Foot Bed with OEM Prep Pkg. The Curt hitch has more bells and whistles with some updated designs such as a three point indicator system, integrated skid plate, interlocking jaw design, and easy one-pin head removal to name a few. They will both provide a smooth ride. I give the edge to Curt in new designs, features, and ride quality but I give the edge to B&W in durability and longevity.
