Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Replacement RV Toilet Floor Flange

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement RV toilet floor flange. This is going to replace the floor flange for your RV toilet. The three-inch female NPT end threads into your RV's blackwater system. You are going to have 0.541 inches of usable female threads.

And then let me pull out my ruler here just to confirm some other measurements with you. You're gonna have a four-inch diameter opening that's going to hold your toilet wax ring. The overall diameter of this is gonna be seven inches. And the hole cutouts for securing the flange to the floor and to the toilet to the flange are pre-drilled. And the diameter from those hole cuts on one side to the hole cuts on the other side, we're sitting right at about 5 1/2 inches.

Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Snapped the toilet off the mount the first night using the RV. The flange broke where the T bolt slides in. I did not know that RV flanges are threaded in place and was lucky to see it move when I tried to pry it off the pipe going down to the holding tank. ALL the plumbing supply shops and Home Improvement stores only have glue in place flanges some had cast iron rings and others had metal reinforcement but still none that threaded on. I am going to fabricate something to beef this up even if I have to add a 1/4" SS sheet the same footprint as the new toilet. Planning to use a smart toilet w/bidet seat. Will update this review as the project progresses. RV is being used because I lost the home to a wildfire here in CA. 32' Toy-hauler type with one slid-out and a dropdown patio. Got to at least have a real bathroom fixture as it snows here and an outside facility just won't do. More later.

Toilet flang for our rv toilet item #T05-0784. It helped the leaking issue. At this time we have traded the fifth wheel, so not sure if the issue is still good .

by:

Product was shipped quickly and was exactly as described! The pricing through etrailers was less than that of other retailers, and no rip off on shipping prices. I would definitely do business here again!

by:

I am very impressed with your business as I ordered a part from you and received it earlier than I expected it with no trouble or hassle involved, as is the case today in many instances with other companies. Your product was a third of the price I received at a different place and it was the exact product. I certainly will continue to deal with you people in the future, and pass your name onto all the people I come into contact with that are needing a part. Thank you again.

by:

Seems to be a good quality toilet flange; although, have not installed yet. Will follow up after installation of toilet.

I am going to replace a 19 year old flange that has cracked. The new etrailer flange is solid and I anticipate a long future of use

The flange I ordered was a perfect match for what I needed. Replacement went off without a hitch!

  • How To Choose The Correct Toilet Flange Replacement For Your Trailer
To find the correct replacement flange for your trailer you'll first need to remove your current flange to see exactly how it was attached. Your current flange could be screwed onto the pipe or glued to it so you'll need to find out which style you currently have and find the matching style. If your flange is glued to the pipe then you would need to cut it off and will most likely just have a 3" pipe sticking up to connect to. In this scenario you would use part # 344633633, which has...

  • Can An RV Toilet Flange Be Replaced Without Ripping Up The Floor
Hey Tom, I would first see if your flange is screwed on like the # T05-0784 or # T05-0782. If not and it's glued on you can use a rotary tool with a cutting wheel to cut the pipe from the inside out to avoid pulling the floor. Depending on how they sealed the bottom up you might just have corrugated plastic as the bottom of the trailer that you can cut to gain access to the pipe from below and then just patch back closed with zip ties and RTV sealant. If none of these options work then...

  • Which Way Should the Valterra RV Toilet Floor Gasket Be Facing
Correct, the tapered end of the Valterra RV Toilet Floor Gasket part # Q23653VP should be facing down towards the tank. In regards to the back and forth rocking, this would be hard to diagnose without seeing your particular setup but the issue could be the thickness of the floor flange or the fit of the gasket inside the floor flange in which case you would need the Replacement RV Toilet Floor Flange part # T05-0782 or part # T05-0784 as well as the Valterra RV Toilet Floor Gasket.
