Protect your truck and towables from flying rocks and debris with these fully adjustable mud flaps. The heavy-duty rubber flaps slide onto your ball mount or tow bar, and they adjust horizontally and vertically for a custom fit on your vehicle.
Features:
Specs:
Note: To use Rock Tamers, there must be at least 1" of clearance between the back of the ball mount face and the trailer hitch receiver opening.
Rock Tamers are adjustable to fit your specific vehicle's wheelbase. The mats move horizontally along the support rods and expand from 67-3/4" to 97-1/4" wide. The mats can also be adjusted vertically so that you can maintain proper ground clearance no matter the load you are carrying.
The mats include pre-cut lines on the back in 1-1/2" sections so that you can trim the Rock Tamers to the appropriate length for your vehicle. A punch tool is included to create holes in the mud flap for attaching the installation clamp bolts.

Protect your truck and towables from flying rocks and debris with these fully adjustable mud flaps. We were looking for some type of defectors when on dirt roads and when hauling our Fifth-wheel. The installation is easy and allows us to change the angle and length as needed. Great purchase and owning them a year has shown how much additional piece of mind having them, has been.
Installation went flawless. Fits our 2021 F-250 Tremor (SB) without any modifications needed. All of the unpainted HW seems to be a good quality stainless.
Bought this second pair of mud flaps for my son when he brought a trailer and truck,
Just bought these for my 2014 ram I tow my boat and fifth wheel behind have not used them yet but install was easy should help a lot.Good Quality
I'm happy again with the product and your service. I would buy another!!! Two minor issues: first the Hub Assembly came with a stripped 3/8" diameter bolt. I'm hoping to order a replacement, just tell me the part number and cost. I made it work for now. I need to pick up my new boat on Saturday after paying $2,800 for a gel coat repair on it's bow from our last outing. The other small issue is that your stainless steel horizantel bars are a pain to drill for the safety cross bolt. The rubber flappers were supper easy to cut.
Needed something to protect the boat and 5th wheel from rocks. These will definitely do the job and are easily removed when you pull the hitch out. Supra trim plates do not come in the kit, I had those custom made.
Excellent customer service. Ordered on Saturday evening and was delivered on Thursday. Easy installation about 1 1/2 hours, built stout and packaged very well, still need to trim flaps but I have not put a full load on the truck yet ( next weekend). I also made an adapter to store on the back of my 5th wheel when I get were I am going. Would highly recommend this product an e- trailer.

Still completely satisfied, these rock tamers are doing great protecting the front of my 5th wheel and enclosed car hauler. Have had a few good comments and asked were I got them recommended etrailer to them.
I purchased the Rock Tamer flaps to to protect my fifth wheel trailer. The product is heavy duty, easy to install, and worth the price. The one mistake I made was cutting the flap material without the trailer loaded. Upon placing the trailer, I had to remove the flaps and take off one more cut so the flaps did not drag. The flaps did the job keeping rocks and debris from dinging the trailer paint. There is all sorts of debris on the roads and I included two pictures of one item the flap captured and kept from the trailer. Yes, that is a screwdriver.

Still protecting, look as good as the day I installed.
I am familiar with Rock Tamers mud flap system as my buddy has them and they work great. etrailer got them to me in two days at a good price!
These mud flaps are great. Made from high-quality materials. They have a custom look, while allowing for adjustment to fit any truck/trailer configuration. Adjust up/down, in/out, whatever you need. My Ford F450 has a class V hitch so I ordered the Blue-Ox 2-1/2' to 2" adapter sleeve to mount the bracket to. I leave the reducer attached to the mud flap bracket, so once assembled, installation is literally a minute or less, just insert the reducer with mud flaps attached into the receiver and install the pin.
Nice product. Have um on both trucks we have. Nice for avoiding getting trailer all mudded on front. Works
Just returned from a 5000 mile trip with our new 5th wheel. We traveled on roads that often were not in good repair. Several campgrounds had lengthy gravel roads leading to them. Not a single scratch to the front or underside of our RV. My Rock Tamers performed superbly. They ere easy to assemble and are even easier to remove when not needed. They weren’t inexpensive compared to lesser quality products, but as the saying goes: We often get what we pay for. In this case my Rock Tamers were worth every penny.

Very well made. Worked as advertised. Easy to install.
I use this setup for hauling our camper and they do an excellent job protecting from debris. The heat from my factory exhaust is warping one side which I didn’t expect since it’s out the side and at least 12” away. Guess they aren’t very heat resistant.
Product shipped fast as always from etrailer and is very high quality. It took about an hour and a half for installation and adjustments. One thing that I needed to install was a hitch tamer to tighten up the receiver reducing tube so the set up wouldn't move around because of the slop in the hitch and tube. Fortunately I had one from another set up I had and when installed, it made the RockTamer set up solid! See pictures attached
I would recommend this product!
I ended up buying the Enkay Rock Tamers and they don’t trigger my back up alarm when the trailer is not hitched. I’ve attached some photos showing how I have them mounted. The attachment brackets that secure the arms to the hitch are almost vertical, I couldn’t show that well in a picture. Hopefully, you can use this information to help the next person with this type of enquiry. The truck is a 2015 F250. The measure tape pictures show the outboard sensor on driver and passenger sides, respectively.
Install was quick and keeps the rock chips off of my 5th wheel
Works GREAT!!! No problems at all!!!
Easy assembled. Looks Good on my 2020 F350Super Duty Dually. Good quality,
well made.
They work great and are heavy duty. My main reason I got them was to keep rocks from hitting my boat. I never thought about winter use when I pull the snowmobiles or ATV’s. The salt, sand and slush spray is terrible here in MN. These knock down 90% of the blast coming from the truck. When I get to my destination the trailer and toys aren't caked with 4 inches of a salt slurry that normally is all over everything. Well worth the investment.
I don't know yet. It's still in the box. It's still winter here.

They work great. It wasnt till May of 2022 that I put them on. It was easy to set up. Measured how much I needed to trim the flaps, and it was all good from there. They do what theyre supposed to do, and they look great.
The product itself is well built and exactly what I was looking for to protect the front of my enclosed 8 ft wide trailer. Assembly was easy with a couple cold beers. I really like the fact that these can be adjusted width wise to protect trailers of different widths. Curious as to the durability, time will tell. I've ran into a bit of difficulty - my own fault not the products - in the product description it was clearly stated that there needs to be a minimum of one inch between the face of the receiver (the part that's mounted on the vehicle) and the edge of the stinger where the center hub will slide over the stinger... I did not measure that distance - my bad. I don't want to drop more $$'s on a new drop stinger that I don't need so I'm getting with a machine shop to drill another hole in the stinger so the pin can be inserted to secure the stinger to the receiver. I should take pictures and attach.

Absolutely love these!! Instead of getting with a machine shop to modify the pin placement on the hitch I had a buddy weld up a piece that permanently attached the 2.5 sleeve to the hitch. This provided the room necessary to mount the center hub of the Rockk Tamer system. These mud flaps a re the bomb do they say that anymore? Ive seen lots of mud flaps going down the road aand these are the best. I did end up buying the heat shield to protect the flap on the exhaust side of my diesel pick up. One short trip and the flap was so hot I couldnt touch it. If I hadnt bought the heat shield Im afraid the mud flap would have been destroyed on an extended trip.
The product did keep my 5th wheel much cleaner. However, be warned, while making a sharp turn backing into a camp spot the rod on which the flaps hang punctured the front storage door of the trailer. The door had to be replaced and the rod was bent making the rock tamers unusable.
I am now evaluating replacement mud flap of some type. I may go with these again or choose another option.

I stopped using this product when it was destroyed in the event previously described. I have chosen another similar product with improved, but not perfect, results.
Awesome product and service
product should up right on time
I have put roughly 20,000 miles on my rock tamers over the course of a year. Install was easy, they are wide enough for my 2018 F-350 Dually. Lots of bolting together, and the fact that you have to bolt on the “rock tamer” badge to the flap was kind of annoying. They work as they should though, my trailer has not picked up any dents since the install.

The emblems arent installed because the length of the flaps can be custom fitted to the length you need. If the item came with them installed, you would need to remove them, cut the flap to length and then reinstall the emblems.

Still holding up great after one year. Have not had one issue with them.
