Gooseneck Specs:
With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow a gooseneck trailer, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance. When you're ready to tow your fifth wheel trailer, just install the Companion in the ball hole in place of the gooseneck ball and lock the post in place using the built-in handle. You can remove the fifth wheel when you're done towing, leaving your truck bed open once again.
Simple, Custom Installation
This kit is custom designed for your vehicle. The mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the brackets and center section installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the mounting post of the Companion (or the base of the gooseneck hitch ball).

The best of the best. I've used them all. This is a game changer. I can't even begin to explain how much I love this hitch. I used to order all my trucks with the factory puck/gooseneck system. Not anymore. Much cleaner look with the B&W. It's worth the install effort to have a B&W system by far.
I bought a 2020 Silverado 2500, it had a curt gooseneck hitch, it was a pain to remove took like 2 hours to take out, it’s not as well made as the bw hitch glad I put it in, it is well made and easy to install, no problems to install. Thanks for the great product.
I am happy with the products. I do like the new set up B&W came up with for the newer trucks. One thing I was not happy with was when I ordered the Turnover Ball Hitch along with the Companion 5th wheel hitch for my customer, I was shorted the center section for the Turnover ball hitch. Thankfully my customer was understanding, just put a huge delay in getting it installed and came down to the wire before my customer left for their trip.
Have not installed yet but all the hardware is very heavy duty and painted with no defects looks good

Very well made, and exceptionally rugged. I had this installed in my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD by a local spring shop that works primarily with heavy commercial trucks, as my truck did not have a 5th Wheel/Gooseneck package. They were very impressed with construction, fit, finish and ease of installation. I also purchased the B&W Companion 5th Wheel hitch to go along with it, to tow my 14k lbs. camper. I have just completed a 1200 mile trip towing camper from Wisconsin to northern New England, and I was very pleased with the performance of both components.

Received this Underbed Installation Kit, the quality of the hardware was perfect! The reason I gave it a 4-star review vs 5-star was the documentation. We had to go to the Website to find the Step-by-Step installation instructions. It would also be VERY helpful if they would BOLD the Hand Tighten Only stuff to ensure this isn't missed. We tightened several of the bolts and found out later these needed to be loosened until final assembly.

I purchased this unit because I wanted to keep the bed as clean as possible when not towing. After getting a quote for installation I decided to try it myself. It went very well. Recommend 2 people for installation because it is heavy. Went in with little difficulty. Would recommend highly.
