Do I Need a Fifth Wheel Slider for Towing a Grand Design Reflection 31MB with a 2020 Silverado 2500?

Truck is a 2020 Silverado 2500 Crew cab with the standard 80inch 6.5 foot bed. our camper we are purchasing is a Grand Design Reflection 31MB. Not sure if I actually will need the slider option, what do you suggest?

There are a lot of great options for fifth-wheel hitches for your 2020 Silverado 2500. You might be able to get away with using a fifth-wheel hitch without the slider option, but for vehicles with a short bed, it is almost always recommended. Without it, you could have difficulty maneuvering the trailer on tight corners and could even damage your truck and camper if not careful.
The B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3770 you were looking at actually does not fit your vehicle. Instead, I recommend the B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3775 if you have the OEM Prep Package. If not, I recommend the B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3400-5W and Installation Rails # BWGNRK1020-5W. Both of these hitches feature a slider with up to 12" of travel and can tow up to 20,000 lbs. They also feature adjustable height settings from 17"-19".
