Question:
My brake controller has two dots and two flashing bars I was wondering what that meant

According to the installation instructions when the Prodigy P2 # 90885 has 2 dots it means that it is getting power but no trailer is connected (see attached photo). I am not sure what the 2 flashing bars are though.
There are a number of codes that will flash on the display when there is a loss of power or the P2 losses connection but none of them feature 2 bars like you mentioned. If you check out the 2nd picture I attached of the troubleshooting chart this lets you know what the different situations and causes are for each code, let me know if any of these look similar to the code you're seeing or take a picture of that code and send it to me and I can help you troubleshoot further.
