What Size Trailer Tires Will Fit on a 10x6 Inch Wheel

Published 11/11/2014

Question:

I just bought a set of 10x6 5 Lug Aluminum S5 Trailer Wheels and am having a problem finding tires to fit. This is for a small trailer that will be towed behind a Goldwing I do not want tires that are very wide because the trailer is only 3 x 5. Do you have any?

For a 10x6 inch wheel you will be looking at 205/65-10 tires which is an 8.3 inch wide tire. We have a few options in this size.

For a load range B rated for 910 pounds at 35 psi use # AM1HP50
For a load range C rated for 1,100 pounds at 50 psi use # AM1HP52
For a load range D rated for 1,330 pounds at 70 psi use # AM1HP54
For a load range E rated for 1,650 pounds at 90 psi use # AM1HP56

Trailer tires should always be inflated to the maximum psi indicated on the tire. Going with a higher capacity tire will not increase the capacity of the trailer. I have included a link to the right to our informational article on trailer tires for you to view.
