Features to know about

Made for Confident Hauling at Highway Speeds: Load Range C with 81-mph Rating

When you’re towing long distances, you want a tire that won’t flinch under load. This Loadstar ST175/80D13 bias tire delivers a 1,360-lb maximum load at 50 psi and carries an M speed rating of 81 mph. It’s built for trailers, not passenger vehicles, and meets Department of Transportation specifications so you can stay steady and legal at highway speeds.

Built to Handle the Weight: 6-Ply Bias Construction with Strong Sidewalls

This tire’s 6-ply rating uses thick nylon cords set at a 30- to 45-degree angle that crisscross through the sidewall. The result is a stiffer build that helps the entire tire flex evenly over dips or uneven ground. It’s that bias-ply strength that gives a smoother, more stable ride when loaded down, whether on farm roads or rough pavement.

Corrosion Resistance That Lasts: White Powder-Coated Steel Wheel

The 13" diameter x 4-1/2" wide Dexstar-made steel wheel resists rust with its e-coat primer and durable white powder coat finish. The classic 8-spoke design looks clean while sealing out moisture and grime season after season. With a 4 on 4 bolt pattern, 2.65" pilot diameter, and zero offset, it’s straightforward to mount and built to stay looking good.

Ready to Mount and Go: Tire and Wheel Assembly That Meets DOT Standards

Skip the extra steps—this combo arrives as a complete tire-and-wheel assembly that’s tested to meet all DOT requirements. Rim dimensions are already matched to the ST175/80D13 tire’s section width of 6.6" and outer diameter of 24", so fitment and balance are dialed in from the start. Backed by Kenda’s 5-year tire warranty and a limited 1-year wheel warranty, plus a 1-year worry-free replacement guarantee if the tire is damaged in the first year, it’s a setup made for real use right out of the box.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Found what I needed and went with ground service delivery, was then upgraded by etrailer for 3-5 and in 3 days it was there on my porch, perfect!! Great service!!!

I am 100% satisfied with the service I received from Etrailer. My wheels and tires arrived in perfect condition.Put them on my boat trailer and they look fantastic! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

by:

Thanks so much for the fast service. I have an older boat trailer that had 12 inch tires on it that were needing replaced when I came across your website and found that I could get a four on four bolt pattern in a 13 inch wheel. Your website was very informative on trailer tires. I put them on the day they arrived, and I am very happy with them!!

by:

Very easy transaction. Buying this combo of tire and wheel proved to save me money The additional cost of adding the wheel was still cheaper than paying to have them mounted locally if buying only the tires. Plus the tire tread pattern is superior to what I have now and I feel that the tire wear will improve. Also because of the way the items were packaged the new rims don't have a scratch on them. Cant wait to mount them and hit the road. Had to hold back one star only cause I have not yet mounted the new wheels. Great service and product

by:

We have been looking for tires to replace the ones on our boat trailer. They were very hard to find, as we live in a rural area. I found the tire and rims at etrailer.com. The price was unbeatable! The tires fit on the trailer and will work great! (We haven't had a chance to take the boat out yet) Shipping was prompt and communication was great! Thanks!

by:

Finally had the time to review, mount, and pull the trailer with the new tires and wheels. We could not be more satisfied at this point from the initial purchase and your complete execution of all commitments regarding delivery of the product!
Thank for your excellent service! We apologize that we currently have not taken photos with the new tires.
Best regards
Bill

The tires I ordered are of solid quality and fit the hubs on my trailer exactly I’m very pleased with the product, the cost and the quick delivery time. Thank you E trailer.

by:

Went up from 12" to 13" wheels and decided on these because of their speed rating (M 81 mph). Perfect fit onto existing hubs. 2500 miles from Florida to Nova Scotia, Canada at mostly 65 mph. No problems. Tires did not get excessively hot, could always touch with full palm.
Fast delivery from e-trailer.

Its a year later and these tires are still going strong. Multiple camping trips with the now lifted popup under our belt and these tires have made pulling the trailer at highway speeds a breeze. The larger diameter combined with the axle lift also means getting the trailer into the back country is easier. Highly recommend these tires if youre doing a lift on your popup!

Put LoadStar tires and wheels on my 32 foot sailplane trailer last year. Currently have about 1600 miles of combined highway and off-road on them with no problems. So far they have held up better than other tires I have tried in the past., Stable trailer handling. negligible air loss, and no sidewall checking in desert conditions. I'm happy

by:

These tires are fantastic after 1 year and 2600 miles the tires still look brand new. I believe that these tires will last another year and 2600 more miles. For the last 15 years I have been getting around 1200 miles out of a set of tires, I love to fish so my trailer goes everywhere. yes I will buy these again.

Seem great so far! Bought them for a camper I built. Was planning on going from Indiana to Yellowstone last summer with them. But then COVID hit and National Parks closed. We have done some more local trips of 25-100 miles and worked great so far.

Nice looking tires and wheels.

The wheel works as it should. My boat trailer was missing a spare. What is impressive to me is that after a year I am receiving this inquiry from etailer! This is such remarkable attention on such a common item! Thank you!

@Thomas Glad to hear it! What kind of trailer did you install this on?

by:

Great fast service. Needed new tires for my utility trailer. (Had placed an order for two tires and then another for a third tire for a spare.) Made it easy to order new bigger tires for the trailer, I had 5.30-12 load B tires before, was able to fit ST175/80D13 load C without modification.

by:

The shipping was great and everything arrived in good order. The most important thing when buying tires is the date code on the tire. The date code on these tires were 2825. Meaning they manufactured the 28th week of 2025. I ordered and received 6/1/26. I know these are probably oddball sizes so the inventory is limited, but I prefer to get tires that are a little fresher on their manufacturing date than one year. Age matters.

by:

Super fast shipping. Tires as described and are much better than the smaller tires my trailer came with. I’ll be buying a third tire as a spare. I take my trailer on dirt roads quite a bit, so peace of mind not only on the freeway, but on trails, is important to me.

  • Recommendation for Upgrading to Larger Tires from 5.30-12 Tires on Trailer
As long as you have the needed wheel well and trailer frame clearance, there is no reason that you couldn't go to a larger tire size from your existing 5.30-12 tires. The next size up from what you have is going to be with an ST175/80-13 size tire. This tire size will have an overall diameter of 24 inches and a width of 6.9 inches. This is compared to the 21.9 inch diameter and 5.6 inch width of your existing 5.30-12 tires, which means that the top of the tire will be about 1 inch closer...

Yes, you are able to put a smaller tire on the trailer to lower it, however there are a few things that you want to consider when choosing a smaller tire. Hi William; if I had to guess you have an older trailer. 4 on 4-1/2 is a valid bolt pattern but it is not very common and typically found on vintage cars/trailers. We don't carry any wheels that will fit that hub. The # AM3S120 and others we have only work with 4 on 4. If you can't find any wheels that match, the best thing to do would be to swap out the hubs so you can use wheels with the common 4 on 4 bolt pattern.
