Front-Mount Hitch Installation on 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:
I am looking at purchasing a front trailer hitch for a 2013 Silverado 1500. I cannot find any videos online showing installation, or installation instructions. There are plenty of videos on install on a 2500, but not the 1500. It looks like there will need to be a hole cut in the front facia/airdam. How hard is this to do, and where is this cut?

We do offer two front-mount 2-inch hitches for your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 including the Curt # 31322 that you referenced. We have an installation video showing a 2007 Silverado that you can see by clicking on the included link. Also the written instructions are linked for you at right. Installation requires removal of the air dam, if present, but Curt does not specify that it requires trimming, although this may be an option if you'd rather not remove it entirely.
All required hardware is included and the hitch installs without drilling or welding.
