Front Mount Hitch for a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a Snowplow

Question:
I am looking to purchase a front-mount hitch to install a Snowsport snow plow on my 2013 Grand Cherokee. Would C31033 work for this application? I was told by Snowsport that any Class 3 mount with a 2inch receiver will work as long as there is 8inch - 14inch of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the receiver.

Curt front mount trailer hitch # C31033 will fit your 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee as long as the vehicle does not have factory tow hooks. There are no options if it does have factory tow hooks. Though we have heard of at least one customer who had a mechanic remove the factory tow hooks and then they were able to install the hitch.
Regarding the height once installed the hitch receiver will be directly below the front fascia as shown in the picture I have included. Provided that your Jeep isn't lifted or has very large tires on it the receiver will be within the acceptable range for the SnowSport snowplow.
