Im looking to have U-Haul install a trailer hitch. They say I need a Quick Connect wiring option. I have a 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid. Can you help me? Do you have this item?

Hi Richard!
While I do have an option for wiring on your 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid, there are no manufacturers currently producing a plug an play option, unfortunately.
With that said, the part you are going to need is the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This will require cutting and splicing, but it's still a pretty basic and straightforward install. If U-Haul is saying they can't do an install like this, I very highly recommend going to a local auto shop that you trust to have it installed. They are well aware there is no plug and play harness available for your vehicle, which is likely why they didn't just provide you with an option (even though this is also the wiring harness they have recommended for your Kia on their website when I checked just now).
To be perfectly honest, if they are doing this to you, I don't think I would trust them with the hitch install either. If it were me, I would take the TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # TS96VR (which is the exact 2073 hitch U-Haul offers) and have it installed at the same place you find to do the wiring harness. I've been hearing some weird stuff about U-Haul installs lately.
Sorry to drop a bomb on you like that, but I feel like they are being kind of dishonest with you and I don't like that sort of thing.
Are you wanting all this for towing a trailer or more for a bike rack with lights on it?

The Curt #56474 will work with modifications. On the driver's side, switch the red and yellow connections by cut, strip, solder, and heat-shrink tubing. Do the same on the passenger side, which is a bit trickier since you need to cut the white top middle jumper to solder to the green lead that you must also cut. The cut and switch are in the relative positions of the connectors on both sides of the car.
