The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package – 7-Way Trailer Connector # C68JR for your 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe will provide the wiring needed to power your trailer's lights (as well as a couple other things), but you will still need a brake controller to activate the trailer brakes. Two brake controllers that are commonly used with the Santa Fe are:
Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller – Off-Road Mode – 4 Axles – Proportional # RED57AR
Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller – 7-Way Plug-in w/ Bluetooth App – Up to 2 Axles – Proportional # C51180
Both of these controllers plug directly into the 7-Way connector, so they don't require additional wiring inside the vehicle. Personally, I prefer the Redarc controller as we've received significantly better feedback on it compared to the Curt. The Curt's app has a reputation for being somewhat buggy and difficult to use. The Redarc is more expensive, though.
If you would prefer a hardwired brake controller inside the cab, such as the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR, I would actually recommend using the # ETBC7 upgrade kit rather than the Curt # C68JR.
I know that may seem contradictory to my recommendation of the # C68JR above, but the reason is that I'm finding conflicting information about whether your Santa Fe has the necessary factory brake-controller wiring under the dash. The # C68JR setup would require compatible pre-run wiring under the dash if you wanted to install a hardwired brake controller.
So, if you're okay with using a wireless brake controller, I would go with the Curt # C68JR wiring harness and Redarc # RED57AR brake controller.
If you prefer to have the brake controller mounted inside the cab of your Santa Fe, I would go with the # ETBC7 wiring kit and Redarc # RED52VR brake controller.
