Hi Vincent,
Thank you for thinking of us for another hitch for your other vehicle!
For your 2004 Ford F-150, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13357 is a confirmed fit for your truck! It will work on all models, with or without the vibration dampener. The hitch has a 2" receiver that is rated for 600lbs on tongue weight and 6,000lbs towing capacity. No drilling or welding will be necessary as it'll bolt directly to the frame with the included hardware. As you mentioned, the install will be pretty straight forward, the only time-consuming thing may be lowering the exhaust, but no trimming is need for the bumper or any fascia.
What are you planning on towing with your new hitch?
