Recommended Deluxe Roof Vent Fan to Upgrade from a Ventline V2119

Updated 08/20/2026 | Published 08/11/2026

Question:

I HAVE A VENTLINE MODEL V2119 FAN IN MY WINNEBAGO TRAILER. I WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE THE FAN FOR MORE AIR MOVEMENT. WHAT PRODUCT WOULD YOU SUGGEST?

Thanks for the information Doug! To upgrade your Ventline V2119 fan, I recommend the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan item # MA00-06401K. This is a manual lift fan with 4 speed settings.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan item # MA00-06401K is 9x more powerful than your Ventline V2119 fan on the highest setting. It moves 900 CFM of air over the Ventline's 100 CFM.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan item # MA00-06401K fits the same standard 14" x 14" roof opening, runs off of the same 12v power supply, and adds a built-in rain shield so you can run it during storms.

If you really want to go all out on a new fan, the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan item # MA00-07500K is the Cadillac of roof vent fans. It's got a powered lift, 10 speed settings, a remote, and a thermostat you can set to automatically kick on or off. This fan can also suck fresh air in instead of just blowing air out.

Where are you looking to increase air flow in your Winnebago and are there any specific features you're wanting the new fan to have? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, I would like to replace just the fan, not the whole assembly. Is there a product (like HENGS) that would retrofit just the inner workings to fit my rig?

@DougP Doug, I understand your desire to replace only the fan but let's look at the logic of just fan replacement. The whole assembled is probably plastic and I can attest the fact that no matter the manufacturer, that plastic is not permanent. UV will eventually degrade it. Saying that, you might be better off replacing the assemble. I highly recommend the Maxx Air 4 speed which is what I installed .

@DougP You're welcome. Unfortunately, there is not a way to retro fit or upgrade the fan to increase ventilation on the Ventline V2119 fan. The best option here is going to be a complete replacement.

I installed the Maxx fan Deluxe in my trailer recently and it is a 100% improvement over the fan that came with the trailer it moves a lot of air. On our most recent RV trip even my wife said," that fan works great."

I installed a 4speed deluxe in the bath and a 10 speed in the living/kitchen area of our Lance TT. They are excellent, the integral rain hood was a must for me. I purchased both from Etrailer.

I purchased the manual lift MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent for my 7X12 Cargo trailer. With its 4 speeds, It really does a nice job of taking out the heat and It looks cool. I like the fact that you can keep it open and not worry about pest or water getting In.
