Can this AC unit be mounted from the top down like a jet 5 or mach 15?

It sure can Larry. The Mach-C Everest Variable Speed RV Air Conditioner System item # CM35MR includes an air distribution box that can be used for a top down set up. There's a baffle built into the air distribution box that can be removed to push the air through the vents instead of air ducts.

I attached a couple of pictures below so you can see that baffle removed. It'll push all the air out through the air distribution box vents once you take it off.

Its a 2018 Solitude rear AC unit with no access from the inside. Those plates look like they have to be mounted where an adb would go. The ac has to be lag bolted from the top.

@Larry Thanks for the info Larry! You are correct. Unfortunately, we do not have any AC units that function without an ADB mounted to the interior of the RV.

@JerredH actually you do. The Coleman mach units, when ducted w/ a t stat, can be mounted from the top down. The controller sits inside the unit with push nuts. Thank you for clarifying though! I appreciate yall!
