Question:

e67ZR, when i installed the curt adapters on the XHD tow bar using the larger bolt, i used the rubber spaces on each side the slide rod but there is still a lot of play, should i add more rubber spacers?

Welcome back, Jerry!

While a little play is fine, if you are getting a lot, that would be something else. If you used the #6 spacers from the instructions (which are the ones that fit the larger bolts), you could try using the #7 spacers to take up the space. However, they are technically for the smaller bolts and will be difficult to get around the bigger ones. You could potentially drill them out a little to get them on easier. Doing this should get you on your way! ^___^

Where are you planning on going once you get the play worked out?
