Hey TJ, thanks for reaching out. The best way to mount a 4-flat plug on the back of your Bronco is with the Curt Mounting Bracket for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C42CR. You'll need to mount it to the bumper so what I recommend is using a few bolts, washers and nuts to attach it to the bottom of the bumper next to the receiver.

I've included a picture showing what that will look like once its done.

What kind of trailer do you plan to tow?

Hey TJ i used some JB Weld metal epoxy to glue it right on top of my hitch. It worked out great just make sure you set it up to plug in and pull out to the side of the vehicle. i did not like the option to bolt it the plastic bumper.

Hi TJ, On my 2023 Tucson I installed the Curt Mounting Bracket for the 4 pole flat connector to the left of the hitch receiver to the bottom flat part of the thick plastic molded rear bumper which hides the hitch receiver for the most part. I used 2 small stainless phillips 3/4 inch long screws with nylon inserted locking nuts. It looks professionally installed, very solid and works great. Hope this helps. William
