Does the BLU44ER charge line include a diode or other circuitry to prevent battery drain?

Hey Howard, great question but yes the Blue Ox Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Wiring Harness # BLU44ER that you referenced does have a diode built into it so that it doesn't backfeed or reverse charge from the towed vehicle to the tow vehicle. That means you will not need to install anything else with this. What are you flat towing?

It was the best thing I could have added… Because my plug in hybrid requires you to stop every several hours and start the engine… With this addition I do not have to worry about the battery…
