Question:

I am looking to tow my 2017 f250 and curious w I need including brake buddy, magnetic lights and tow bar for rv. I’d like to be able to tow other vehicles besides my truck if possible. If you could advise I’d appreciate it. Thank you. I have a 2022 magnitude 32 coach

I have a great solution for you. Since you say that you are looking to flat-tow multiple vehicles, I strongly recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. This system is a much more reliable and higher-quality system than a Brake Buddy system. Also, with the Patriot, you do not need any additional extra vehicle wiring to use it in another vehicle. You simply remove the Patriot from the F-250 into the other vehicle. For the F-250, you need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 in order to keep your F-250's brake signal from overriding the turn signal sent by your RV. Depending on your other vehicle, you may need a relay kit for that one as well. Feel free to respond to this answer with the year/make/model of that second vehicle, and I would be happy to confirm it for you.

As far as the lighting system, you will need to use a non-magnetic option for tow lighting. This is because magnets will not stick to your aluminum body. For that reason, I recommend the Demco Wireless LED Light Bar for Towed Vehicles # DM36MV. This tow lighting setup comes with suction cups and straps to bypass the issue with the aluminum. It is also easily transferable to your second vehicle.
