Your 2010 Toyota Tundra Platinum is going to to use the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side # CM11301 and CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Passenger Side # CM11302 for towing mirrors. These mirrors will give you improved sightlines when towing are custom fit to exclusively work with Tundras and Sequoias, so it will fit right over your factory mirrors, giving you a worry-free install and a secure fit to prevent slipping. There is some conflicting information online about the fit on Platinum Tundras, but I've confirmed with the manufacturer that both the driver and passenger side will work and they are felt-lined to prevent scratching the paint or chrome caps on your mirrors.

We ended up getting the clip on kind. I think these are better, but we are leaving for a long trip in Monday, so I don't think we have time to exchenge them. We are towong a 24' trailer, so they were absolutely necessary. But thanks for following up on my email.
