Thanks for reaching out Fernando!
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty is one of our most popular brake controllers, so that's a great choice.
For your 1998 Toyota T100, you'll want the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. You were looking at the # RED98CR, which includes a custom plug-in harness, but your T100 doesn't have the factory connector needed to use that harness. The # RED52VR includes the universal wiring harness, this option will need to be hardwired into your truck.
You also mentioned your truck doesn't have any trailer wiring; you'll first need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55513 to add a 4-way trailer connector. This custom harness plugs into your truck's existing taillight wiring to provide a 4-way trailer connection.
Then, because you'll be using a brake controller, you'll also need the etrailer Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # etbc7 to convert the 4-way into a fully functional 7-way. The # etbc7 includes the additional wiring needed for the brake controller output, 12-volt auxiliary power, ground, and reverse light circuit, giving you the connection for a trailer with electric brakes.
What's the story behind the 1998 T100? Are you the original owner?
Also, what kind of trailer do you plan on towing?

Thank you James, I appreciate you getting back to me. I am going to reassess, and i may opt to put the trailer brake on a different vehicle.
