Question:
I would like to replace my existing rv bumper with the Mount n’ Lock Heavy Hauler 5.3” bumper. I am only planning to use the bumper for the sewer hose storage and mounting a vertical carrier for an empty 32 gallon Barker sewage tote. The existing bumper is a c channel configuration and the frame of the rv 2020 Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 19RBS is constructed with 2” x 4” box beams. Can I mount this bumper on the box beam frame?

You sure can Al and thanks for the picture! The Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r Standard Duty Replacement RV Bumper item # MNT63VR requires a minimum of 3" of vertical height when installed on a box/tube frame. So long as you've got 3" of space along your 4" tall frame the brackets will work perfectly. The brackets need 3" of length to securely attach. The 2" width will not impact the strength of the bumper.
The Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r item # MNT63VR is going to work great for storing your sewer hose. It's 92" long and 5-5/16" square so you'll have plenty of storage space. The bumpers got a 660 lbs capacity so it'll easily handle your 32 gallon Barker sewage tote.
How's that Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack item # UF38-944040 we talked about back in March working?

Thanks Jerred. The Phoenix jack works great and the install was very easy. A follow up to the bumper question. All the videos I’ve come across on You Tube show the bumper being mounted to an I beam style frame with a nut and bolt configuration. That would not work with a box beam frame because there would be no way to get the nuts onto the bolts inside the box beam. I am assuming you would use some kind of self tapping screw to fasten the brackets to the box beam frame. Is that correct?
