Ours sure do Mike! The Curt Hitch item # C12169 actually comes with four fish wire tools to help you get the bolts through your CR-V's frame. I attached a picture below that'll show you what hardware and fish wires come with this hitch.

The Curt Hitch item # C12169 is custom fit for the 2023 Honda CR-V. It fits both the hybrid and standard models. This is a class II 1-1/4" hitch with a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs.

I linked an installation video below that we made on this hitch to help you see how to get it set up on your CR-V.

As an alternative to the Curt item # C12169, I recommend our etrailer Hitch item # e98848. This hitch also fits all models of the 2023 Honda CR-V and has a 2" receiver. This hitch will not only save you so money but it also will expand your options for bike racks, cargo carriers, and tow hitches.

Personally, I think our etrailer Hitch item # e98848 looks quite a bit better installed because it's got a matte paint coating that blends in better beneath your CR-V's rear trim. I also linked an installation video for this hitch.

What do you plan on using your new hitch for?

While The installation went we very well because of following good installation instructions, I have been very disappointed to find out that the receiver socket is welded slightly out of plumb. The alignment was not very noticeable with the class one light duty trailer hitch ball, but when it was replaced with a carrier basket or a single bike rack, they magnify the degree of out-of-plumb the receiver is. Two feet up ( as in a bike rack) the end of the perpendicular is 2 inches off center; likewise for measuring level either left or right with a carrier. Very disappointed; not until you have it mounted is the degree of error evident. New Vehicle, new installation, light weight use, shouldn't have any quality issues, but it does! Thanks for hearing my review.

This unit came with the pull wires, excellent. Really made the job a lot easier. Suggestions: I had redo everything due to after installing it, then installing my bike rack….I realized that the bike rack was angled downward, causing it to bump on speed bumps. I had to remove it and install a couple of washers to level the unit up to keep it from dragging. Brand new CR-V, so it’s NOT the car. But it works perfectly now.
