Can Spring Bars of Fastway Weight Distribution System be Upgraded to Match Heavier Camper TW

I currently tow a 4000 lb GVWR camper with an E2 WDH w/ 6000lb spring bars. Came with the camper when I bought it used. I am planning to purchase a larger camper next year with a GVWR of 7400 and a dry tongue weight of around 600. Will I need to upgrade to a different WDH or just the spring bars?

Hey Kerry, thanks for all the info on your setup! You will need to go to higher rated spring bars which is something that is possible with the Fastway e2 weight distribution systems. So if your setup has the square trunnion bars the correct replacement spring bars would be the part # FA92-01-0899 which is a set sold as a pair.
If instead you have a round bar system the correct spring bars would be the part # FA94-02-0899 which are sold individually so you'd need to order a quantity of two of these. I attached a picture that shows the difference between trunnion and round bars.

Kerry, I had a similar situation in trading up to a heavier trailer. I went from 6000# bars to 10,000# bars (square) using the same hitch. Works great.
