Replacement Hub and Bearings for Boat Trailer

Updated 07/10/2026 | Published 07/06/2026

Question:

I am replacing the hub and bearing on a boat trailer. The old hub is a bt-100 that goes on a 1 inch straight shaft. The bearing is L44643 inner and outer. Dont see a number on the seal. Can you give me part s for replacement kits. Possibly pre-greased with marine grade grease. Also ungreased.

Hey Robert! For pre-greased hubs you can use the # TRU78AV with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern or # 34822545BX with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. If you want ungreased, the best route is the galvanized hubs # AKIHUB-440-2-G-EZ-1K (4 on 4) or # AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K (5 on 4-1/2). All of these are designed to fit your spindle with # L44643 inner and outer bearings.

What kind of boat trailer do you have?
