Do anti sway cradles for the helium rack fit the angled extension of the apex rack? The attachment clips look exactly the same c-shape and gap distance.

The Replacement Anti-Sway Cradle # TH8523486001 is designed specifically for the Thule Raceway bike rack, so it is not the correct replacement for a Thule Apex rack. Even though the attachment clips may look very similar, Thule uses different replacement parts for different rack families, and I cannot verify that the Raceway cradle will fit or function correctly on an Apex rack.
For your Thule Apex rack, you'll want the Replacement Anti-Sway Attachment for Thule Apex and Helium Aero Bike Racks # 852-3037-001. This is the replacement that Thule designed for the Apex and Helium Aero models, so it will provide the correct fit and proper support for your bike.

So I ordered and received both of these anti-sway parts and I CAN CONFIRM that they both fit my Thule APEX bike rack just as I thought! (I suspect most the anti-sway parts will fit since they have similar if not the same hanging clip dimensions shown in the photos)
