Today we're going to review part number 852-3006-001. This is the Thule replacement rubber strap for the Thule bike racks. This strap is used to hold your bike in place on the bike rack cradle. This rubber strap will replace a lost or damaged ripple strap on the Hold Fast cradle of your Thule bike carrier. They call it a ripple strap because if you look at it, you can see it sort of has the ripple effect design on it. This will also work on the anti-sway cradle of your bike rack.

The model bike racks that this will work on is the Thule Apex, the Vertex, the Gateway, and the Helium Aero. The part numbers of those bike racks are all listed on this product page, so if you go to the product page for this part number it will show you the part numbers of the bike racks that this will fit on. If you notice it has eight holes, and the holes are on 1" centers, so if you measure center to center, from hole to hole, it's 1" centers. The total overall length, we do the whole length, you can see tip to tip is 8 3/4", and the diameter of each hole is 1/2". That should do it for the review on part number 852-3006-001.
