Do Supplemental Braking Systems Have to Be In Active/Hybrid Mode When Towing 2024 Ford F-150

Question:
I just purchased a rvibrake 4. I have a 2024 F150 that used to work with my rvibrake 3. It has an active brake system, but reports on web search say it is INACTIVE in neutral tow mode. Thus I should use Active braking setting in the RVIBrake. This was an issue with the RVI3 before it stopped working correctly. What is your opinion?

Hey Michael, I looked up your truck and yes when you have it in neutral tow mode the active braking system is shut off completely. That means that when you are flat towing your 2024 Ford F-150 you wouldn't want to use the active braking mode. This is the case for all similar braking systems like the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR.
What kind of tow bar and base plate kit are you using?
